W. Robert Hudgins, M.D.
Dr. Hudgins W. Robert Hudgins, M.D. is a native Texan. Dr. Hudgins received
his premedical training at the University of Oklahoma, and attended medical
school at the University of Mississippi. He then completed surgery training
at Duke and residency at the Semmes-Murphy Clinic and University of Tennessee
Affiliate Hospitals. He has been board certified in Neurosurgery since 1972.
He was active in the U.S. Navy as Lieutenant Commander, Medical Corp., serving
as the Neurosurgeon for the Hospital Ship USS Sanctuary in Vietnam.
Dr. Hudgins
is currently an attending Neurosurgeon at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas
and a Clinical Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at UT Southwestern Medical
School. He is the medical director of the Gamma Knife at Presbyterian Hospital
of Dallas, and a founding member of the American Board of Laser Surgery.
